- BEYOND THE MISTY VEIL मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने पुस्तक की लेखिका आराधना जौहरी को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि यह पुस्तक देश-विदेश में उत्तराखंड के दिव्य मंदिरों के एक प्रामाणिक परिचय के रूप में जानी जाएगी। इस पुस्तक से लोगों को बेहतरीन जानकारी मिलेगी। पुस्तक की सामग्री से जाहिर होता है कि लेखिका ने इसमें कितनी मेहनत की है। देवभूमि उत्तराखंड के पौराणिक मंदिरों पर आधारित पुस्तक हमें अपनी संस्कृति और माइथोलॉजी के बारे मे अवगत कराती है। लेखिका आराधना जौहरी ने अपने सेवाकाल में बतौर नैनीताल डीएम बहुत से विशिष्ट कार्य किये। अब पुस्तक लेखन द्वारा योगदान दे रही हैं।
- BEYOND THE MISTY VEIL पुस्तक की लेखिका आराधना जौहरी ने कहा की देवभूमि उत्तराखंड में उन्होंने शिक्षा प्रारंभ की। उनके पिताजी नैनीताल के डीएम रहे।फिर 30 साल बाद वे स्वयं यहाँ की डीएम रहीं। देवभूमि को सेवाएं देना सौभाग्य की बात है। उन्होंने कहा नैनीताल में पोस्टिंग के दौरान देवभूमि की संस्कृति यहां के मंदिरों लोक देवताओं को करीब से जानने का मौका मिला। वे स्वयं मंदिरों तक गई और वहां की तमाम जानकारियां पुस्तक में देने की कोशिश की है। उनकी यात्रा उतनी ही सुन्दर रही जितनी सुंदर मंजिल थी। यहां का स्थापत्य, इतिहास, लोकगाथाएँ, माइधोलाॅजी अद्भुत है। एक पुस्तक में इतनी बातों को समेटना आसान नहीं था। तीन सौ पृष्ठ की पुस्तक में तीन वर्ष तक शोध किया। उन्होंने कहा उत्तराखंड राज्य में चार धाम के अतिरिक्त भी धार्मिक पर्यटन की अपार संभावना है। यह पुस्तक इसमें सहायक होगी।
