Caste Census Reality ​जातीय जनगणना में एक हैरान करने वाला आंकड़ा बिहार के अरवल जिले से सामने आया है। अरवल जिले में 40 महिलाओं का एक ही ‘पति’ है, जिसका नाम रूपचंद है। पूछे गए सवाल में कई महिलाओं ने रूपचंद का नाम लिया है। अधिकारी को रूपचंद के बारे में जानकारी हुई तो वो भी हैरान रह गए।

Caste Census Reality बिहार में जातीय जनगणना चल रही है। इस दौरान चौंकाने वाले आंकड़े भी सामने आए हैं। जातीय जनगणना के दौरान पता चला कि अरवल जिले में 40 महिलाओं का ‘पति’ एक ही शख्स है। इसका नाम है रूपचंद। जनगणना कर रहे अधिकारी भी इस पर हैरान हैं। नीतीश सरकार की ओर से कराई जा रही जातीय जनगणना के दौरान महिलाओं से उनके पति का नाम पूछा गया। इस पर अगर-बगल के घरों में रह रहीं 40 महिलाओं ने पति का नाम रूपचंद बताया। वहीं कुछ महिलाओं ने अपने पिता और बेटे भी बताया है।

Caste Census Reality मामला नगर परिषद क्षेत्र के वार्ड नंबर-7 का है। यह रेड लाइट एरिया है। इस इलाके में वर्षों से सेक्स वर्कर रह कर अपना जीवन यापन करती आ रही हैं। जातीय जनगणना के दौरान सरकारी कर्मचारी घर-घर जाकर लोगों की जानकारी जुटा रहे हैं। इसी दौरान यह चौंकाने वाला आंकड़ा रेड लाइट एरिया से सामने आया है। यहां 40 महिलाओं ने अपने पति का नाम रूपचंद बताया है। वहीं कुछ महिलाओं ने पिता और पुत्र के तौर पर भी रूपचंद का नाम लिया है।

Caste Census Reality अरवल रेड लाइट एरिया की सेक्स वर्कर के सामने सबसे बड़ी समस्या ये है कि वे अपने पति के रूप में किसका नाम दर्ज कराएं? यहां रहने वालीं अधिकांश महिलाएं रूपचंद यानी रुपया को ही अपना सब कुछ मानती हैं। इसलिए उन्होंने अपने पति के नाम के आगे रूपचंद नाम दर्ज कराया है तो किसी ने पिता के नाम के कॉलम के आगे रूपचंद लिखवाया है।
