Amazing Temple Histor - Amazing Temple History जोशीमठ पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार एक समय यहां वासुदेव नाम के एक राजा राज्य करते थे। एक दिन वह राजा शिकार खेलने वन में गया। उसी समय भगवान नरसिंह राजा के महल पहुंचे और रानी से भोजन मांगा, जिसके बाद रानी ने आदरपूर्वक भगवान को भोग लगाया। भोजन करने के बाद रानी ने भगवान से राजा की शैय्या पर विश्राम करने को कहा। इसी बीच राजा शिकार से लौटकर अपने विश्राम-कक्ष में पहुँच गया। राजा ने देखा कि एक व्यक्ति पलंग पर लेटा हुआ है। राजा गुस्से से लाल हो गया और गुस्से में उसने तलवार से उस आदमी पर हमला कर दिया।
