Balance Test अच्छी और लंबी जिंदगी जीने के लिए संतुलित होना बेहद जरूरी है। यह केवल मानसिक रूप से नहीं, बल्कि शारीरिक रूप से भी। ब्राजील में हुई एक हालिया रिसर्च की मानें तो 50 साल की उम्र से ज्यादा के लोग अगर एक पैर पर 10 सेकंड से ज्यादा खड़े नहीं हो पाते, तो अगले 10 साल के अंदर उनकी मौत की संभावना दोगुनी हो जाती है।

  • Balance Test; शोध के जरिए वैज्ञानिक ये समझना चाहते थे कि क्या 10 सेकंड का छोटा सा बैलेंस टेस्ट लोगों के जल्दी मरने का पता लगा सकता है। साथ ही, क्या इस टेस्ट को मरीजों के रूटीन हेल्थ चेकअप में जोड़ा जाना चाहिए। इसके लिए रिसर्च में 1,700 लोगों को शामिल किया गया और साल 2009 से 2020 तक उनके हेल्थ चेकअप किए गए। पहले टेस्ट के वक्त उनकी उम्र 51 से 75 साल थी, जिससे औसत उम्र 61 निकलकर आई। इनमें से 68% लोग पुरुष थे।

Balance Test; 10 साल की रिसर्च में 21% लोग बैलेंस टेस्ट में फेल हुए। इसके अलावा उम्र के साथ-साथ टेस्ट में फेल होने का खतरा भी बढ़ता गया। 71 से 75 साल के 54% लोग इस टेस्ट को पास नहीं कर पाए। वहीं, 51 से 55 की उम्र के 5%, 56 से 60 साल के 8%, 61 से 65 साल के 18% और 66 से 70 के 37% लोग टेस्ट में फेल हुए।

  • Balance Test; 10 साल के शोध में वैज्ञानिकों ने पाया कि बैलेंस टेस्ट में फेल हुए लोगों की जल्दी मौत होने की संभावना बढ़ जाती है। फेल होने वाले लगभग 17.5% लोगों ने अगले 10 साल के अंदर अपनी जान गंवाई। वहीं, पास होने वाले लोगों में यह आंकड़ा 4.6% था। वैज्ञानिकों ने यह भी पाया कि जो लोग बैलेंस टेस्ट में फेल हुए उन्हें मोटापा, हाइपरटेंशन, कोरोनरी आर्टरी डिजीज और डिसलिपिडेमिया जैसी बीमारियां थीं।

Balance Test; मौत का खतरा 84% तक बढ़ा

  • रिसर्च के दौरान मरने वाले लोगों के सेक्स, उम्र और मेडिकल हिस्ट्री को ध्यान में रखा गया। इससे वैज्ञानिकों को समझ आया कि जो लोग बूढ़े व दूसरी बीमारियों से ग्रस्त होते हैं और बैलेंस टेस्ट में फेल हो जाते हैं, उन्हें अगले 10 साल में मरने का खतरा 84% तक होता है। बैलेंस टेस्ट को आसानी से घर पर भी पर्फोर्म किया जा सकता है। आप किसी भी एक पैर पर 10 सेकंड के लिए खड़े हों। ऊपर उठाए गए पैर को खड़े पैर के पीछे रखें। दोनों हाथों को साइड में रखें। टेस्ट के दौरान आई लेवल पर 2 मीटर की दूरी पर देखें। टेस्ट को पर्फोर्म करने के लिए खुद को तीन प्रयास दें।
