Dehradun Police Pre Wedding पुलिस टीम ने पीड़ित व्यक्ति से पूछताछ कर घटना स्थल के आस-पास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरो को चैक करते हुए मुखबिर तन्त्र को सक्रिय किया गया, जिस पर मुखबिर द्वारा पुलिस टीम को सूचना दी गयी कि शिमला बाइपास क्षेत्र में होटल में हुई चोरी की घटना को अंजाम देने वाले दो अभियुक्त चोरी के सामान के साथ एक स्प्लेण्डर बाइक से पित्थूवाला से अल्का डेरी की तरफ आने वाले हैं, जो चुराये गये सामान को बेंचने की फिराक में है। जिस पर पुलिस टीम मुखबिर को साथ लेकर शिमला बाईपास रोड से अल्का डेरी जाने वाले रास्ते पर खाली मैदान के पास पहुँची,जहाँ पुलिस टीम ने शातिरों को मौके से पकड़ लिया।

Dehradun Police Pre Wedding पूछताछ में अभियुक्त लव लोहिवाल ने बताया गया कि वो और उसका साथी अनुज मूल रूप से बिजनौर के रहने वाले हैं, पिछले कुछ समय से सहस्त्रधारा रोड पर एक कमरा किराये पर लेकर फोटो/विडियोग्राफी का काम कर रहे थे। अनुज हैल्पर का काम करता है। कुछ समय पहले अनुज ने इन्टरनेट पर बिजनौर निवासी अंकित कुमार का प्री वैडिंग शूट का एक एड देखा। चूंकि ये पिछले काफी समय से फोटाग्राफी/विडियोग्राफी का काम कर रहे थे , उन्हें जानकारी थी कि प्री-वैडिंग शूट के लिये फोटोग्राफर और विडियोग्राफर अपने साथ महंगे कैमरे व अन्य उपकरण रखते हैं। जिस पर उन्हें प्री वैडिंग शूट के बहाने देहरादून बुलाकर उनका सामान चोरी करने की योजना बनाई थी ।
