Human-Wildlife Conflict मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की अध्यक्षता में उत्तराखण्ड राज्य वन्यजीव बोर्ड की 18वीं बैठक में निर्णय लिया गया कि प्रदेश में मानव वन्यजीव संघर्ष में किसी व्यक्ति की मृत्यु होने पर उनके परिवार को देय अनुग्रह राशि 4 लाख रूपये से बढ़ाकर 6 लाख रूपये दी जायेगी। गंभीर रूप से घायल होने पर अनुग्रह राशि 50 हजार रूपये से बढ़ाकर 1 लाख रूपये दी जायेगी। मानव वन्यजीव संघर्ष में क्षतिपूर्ति के लिए 2 करोड़ रूपये का कॉरपस फण्ड बनाया जायेगा। शिवालिक एलीफेंट रिजर्व की पुनर्स्थापना के प्रस्ताव को अनुमोदित किया गया।

Human-Wildlife Conflict राज्य वन्यजीव बोर्ड की बैठक में निर्णय लिया गया कि प्रदेश में जिम कार्बेट ट्रेल की स्थापना की जायेगी। जिम कार्बेट से जुड़े स्थानों को विश्व पर्यटन मानचित्र में लाने के लिए पर्यटन विभाग के सहयोग से एक कार्ययोजना बनाई जायेगी। इसमें जिम कार्बेट से जुड़े विभिन्न स्थानों पर पट्टिका का निर्माण, ट्रैक मार्गों का जीर्णोधार किया जायेगा एवं होम स्टे को बढ़ावा दिया जायेगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि ये कार्य चरणबद्ध तरीके से शुरू किये जाएं।
Human-Wildlife Conflict मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि मानव वन्यजीव संघर्ष को कम करने के लिए और प्रभावी प्रयासों की जरूरत है। इसके लिए वन विभाग एवं प्रशासन को सामंजस्य से कार्य करना होगा। मानव वन्यजीव संघर्ष की घटना की सूचना प्राप्त होते ही संबंधितों को अनुग्रह राशि 15 दिन के अन्दर प्राप्त हो जाए। यह सुनिश्चित किया जाए कि किसी को अनावश्यक कार्यालयों के चक्कर न लगाने पड़ें। उन्होंने कहा कि बुग्यालों के संरक्षण की दिशा में भी विशेष ध्यान दिया जाए। बंदरों से फसलों को होने वाली क्षति को रोकने के लिए प्रभावी प्रयासों की जरूरत है, इसके समाधान के लिए एक व्यापक कार्ययोजना बनाई जाए।
