Ideal Personality मध्य प्रदेश की वरिष्ठ अधिकारी सविता का जन्‍म एमपी के मंडी नाम के गांव में एक आदिवासी परिवार में हुआ था। परिवार में बहुत ज्‍यादा गरीबी थी। वह अपने माता-पिता के तीसरे नंबर की संतान थीं। गांव में 10वीं तक स्‍कूल था। ज्‍यादातर लड़कियों को स्‍कूल नहीं भेजा जाता था। लेकिन, वह उन खुशनसीब लड़कियों में थीं जिन्‍हें स्‍कूल जाने का मौका मिला। स्‍कूल भेजने का भी मकसद यही था कि मां-बाप को 150-200 रुपये स्‍कॉलरश‍िप मिल जाती थी। वह अपने गांव की इकलौती लड़की थीं जिन्‍होंने 10वीं बोर्ड की परीक्षा पास की।

Ideal Personality इसी तरह वक्त बीता और 11वीं और 12वीं में बायोलॉजी लेकर पढ़ाई आगे बड़ी। इसी बीच उनका रिश्‍ता आ गया। इत्‍तेफाक से यह रिश्‍ता काफी बड़े घर से था। सविता के पिता को यकीन नहीं हो रहा था कि यह रिश्‍ता उनके यहां कैसे आ गया। लड़के वालों ने बताया कि वे सविता को आगे पढ़ा-लिखा लेंगे। अगले दिन सविता की सगाई कर दी गई। इसके लिए सविता की इच्‍छा-अनिच्‍छा नहीं देखी गई। जब उनकी सगाई हुई तो सविता की उम्र करीब 16-17 साल की थी।


Ideal Personality लेकिन किस्मत ऎसी कि ससुराल में पूरा परिवार उनका मानसिक और शारीरिक उत्पीड़न करने लगा लम्बे समय तक यातना झेलने के बाद इन सबसे सविता बहुत ऊब चुकी थीं। उन्‍होंने सुसाइड कर लेने का मन बना लिया था। इस समय उनका एक बच्‍चा डेढ़-दो साल का था।लेकिन सविता को एहसास हुआ कि वह ऐसे लोगों के लिए भला अपनी जान क्‍यों देने जा रही हैं। फिर उन्‍होंने तय किया वह कुछ भी कर लेंगी। लेकिन, उस घर में नहीं रहेंगी। इंदौर यूनिवर्सिटी से उन्‍होंने पब्लिक एडमिनिस्‍ट्रेशन में मास्‍टर्स किया। पहले ही प्रयास में उन्‍होंने सिविल सर्विस एग्‍जाम निकाल लिया था।


Ideal Personality सविता प्रधान की गिनती आज बेहद तेज-तर्रार अधिकारियों में होती है। मध्‍य प्रदेश सरकार के लिए सिविल सर्वेंट के तौर पर उनके करियर की शुरुआत हुई थी। वह ग्‍वालियर संभाग में ज्‍वाइंट डायरेक्‍टर हैं। बेहद गरीब परिवार से अफसर बनने तक का उनका सफर संघर्ष से भरा रहा है। कभी अपने ससुराल में उन्‍हें इतने कष्‍ट मिले कि वह अंडरवीयर में रोटियां छुपाकर बाथरूम में खाया करती थीं। पति उन्‍हें बेवजह पीटा करता था। सास और ननद का व्‍यवहार भी बहुत बुरा था। स‍िविल सर्विस में आने का मकसद भी सिर्फ सैलरी था। अपने दो बच्‍चों के साथ उन्‍होंने ससुराल छोड़ा था। इसके बाद वह कुछ भी करने के लिए तैयार हो गई थीं। उन्‍होंने बीच में पार्लर वगैरह में भी नौकरी की।

Ideal Personality सविता की पहली पोस्टिंग चीफ म्‍यूनिसिपल ऑफिसर के तौर पर हुई। तरक्‍की देखकर उनका पति दोबारा उनकी जिंदगी में वापस लौट आया। फिर उसने सविता को मारा-पीटा। कार खरीदने के लिए पैसे तक ले गया। सविता ने पहले तो अपने ऊपर हो रहे घरेलू अत्‍याचार को छुपाया। लेकिन, एक दिन उन्‍होंने दुखी मन से इसके बारे में अपने सीनियर्स को बताया। सीनियर्स ने सविता का हौसला बढ़ाया। पुलिस ने जमकर पति की क्‍लास लगाई। अब तक जो कुछ उसने सविता के साथ किया था, पुलिस वालों ने सूद समेत उसे लौटाया। बाद में सविता का अपने पति से तलाक हो गया। वह अपने दो बेटों के साथ खुशी-खुशी जीवन बिताने लगीं।
