Oho Radio Umangotsava उत्तराखंड राज्य स्थापना दिवस के अवसर पर दून विश्वविद्यालय के डॉ. नित्यानंद ऑडिटोरियम में आयोजित ओहो उत्तराखण्ड रंगोत्सव-‘‘एक शाम उत्तराखण्डी संगीत और संस्कृति के नाम’’ कार्यक्रम आयोजित हुआ। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री नेविभिन्न समाज सेवियों को उत्तराखण्ड इंस्पायर अवार्ड के साथ ही राज्य में महिला सशक्तिकरण, पारम्परिक खेती कृषि एवं बागवानी तथा शिक्षा आदि के क्षेत्र में विशिष्ट योगदान देने वालों को ‘‘मैं उत्तराखण्ड हूँ’’ सम्मान से सम्मानित किया।

- Oho Radio Umangotsava मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि 25- 30 वर्ष पूर्व हम सभी ने देखा है कि हमारे घरों में रेडियो का बड़ा प्रचलन हुआ करता था। हम सभी उसके माध्यम से राष्ट्रीय समाचारों को, प्रसिद्ध गीतों को और अपने प्रदेश के लोक गीतों को सुना करते थे और आनंद से अभिभूत हो जाया करते थे। हमने यह भी देखा है कि पहले किसी-किसी गांव में सिर्फ एक-दो घरों में ही रेडियो हुआ करता था। जिसके माध्यम से चौपाल में काफी लोग एकत्रित होकर उस पर आने वाले अपने-अपने पसंदीदा कार्यक्रमों को सुना करते थे।
- Oho Radio Umangotsava उन्होंने कहा कि लोगों को जोड़ने का, लोगों में एकता बढ़ाने का, खुशी देने का सबसे अच्छा माध्यम यदि है तो वह रेडियो ही है। यह बड़ी प्रसन्नता का विषय है कि ओहो रेडियो ने उत्तराखंड में रेडियो को जिंदा रखने का काम किया है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी द्वारा मन की बात कार्यक्रम के लिए रेडियो का चुनाव करना निश्चित रूप से रेडियो की विलुप्त होती भूमिका का संरक्षण और इसकी पुनर्स्थापना करने का एक प्रयास भी है।
Oho Radio Umangotsava उन्होंने कहा कि केदारनाथ पुनर्निर्माण एवं बदरीनाथ धाम के सौंदर्यीकरण पर एक हजार करोड़ के कार्य किये जा रहे हैं। राज्य की समृद्ध लोक संस्कृति को आगे बढ़ाने के निरंतर प्रयास हो रहे हैं। हरेला और इगास के पर्व इसके प्रमाण हैं। आने वाले समय में राज्य के अन्य त्योहारों को भी मनाये जाने के प्रयास किये जायेंगे। इसमें हम सबको सामुहिक रूप से जिम्मेदारी निभानी होगी तभी हम अपनी संस्कृति एवं परम्पराओं की जड़ों से जुड पायेंगे।
