Umesh Dobhal Award 2023 प्रतिवर्ष आयोजित होने वाला उमेश डोभाल स्मृति समारोह इस बार 8 व 9 अप्रैल, 2023 को चमियाला (टिहरी) में सम्पन्न होगा। ट्रस्ट द्वारा चमियाला में स्थानीय आयोजन के साथ मिलकर इसकी तैयारियां शुरू कर दी गयी हैं। ट्रस्ट की एक बैठक में प्रतिवर्ष दिये जाने वाले सम्मान और पुरस्कारों की भी घोषणा कर दी गयी है। इस वर्ष प्रतिष्ठित उमेश डोभाल स्मृति सम्मान जनसंघर्षों के जरिये लोक कल्याण के लिए समर्पित जोशीमठ बचाओ अभियान के संयोजक अतुल सती को दिया जायेगा। उमेश डोभाल स्मृति पत्रकारिता पुरस्कार (प्रिन्ट मीडिया) टनकपुर के हिमांशु जोशी को दिया जायेगा।

Umesh Dobhal Award 2023 उमेश डोभाल स्मृति ट्रस्ट द्वारा एक ऑनलाइन बैठक के बाद सम्मान और पुरस्कारों की घोषणा की गयी। ट्रस्ट के अध्यक्ष गोबिन्द पंत ‘राजू’ ने बताया कि बैठक में अनेक नामों पर चर्चा के बाद निर्णय लिया गया कि इस वर्ष-2023 का उमेश डोभाल स्मृति सम्मान अतुल सती (जोशीमठ) को दिया जाय। बैठक में उनके जनसंघर्षो के जरिये जनहित के कार्यों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गयी और मूल्यांकन के बाद पाया गया कि डाराखण्ड में पर्यावरण एवं जलविद्युत परियोजनाओं के सवाल पर वे लम्बे समय से सक्रिय रहे।

Umesh Dobhal Award 2023 ट्रस्ट द्वारा इस वर्ष का राजेन्द्र ‘राजू’ जनसरोकार सम्मान नैनीताल में शिप्रा कल्याण समिति के अध्यक्ष जगदीश नेगी को दिये जाने का निर्णय लिया गया। श्री नेगी लम्बे समय से जनसरोकारों से जुड़े हैं और उन्होंने नैनीताल में शिप्रा नदी की स्वच्छता एवं अविरल प्रवाह हेतु सार्थक प्रयास किये हैं। गिरीश तिवारी ‘गिर्दा’ सम्मान इस वर्ष भास्कर भौर्याल (बागेश्वर) को दिया जायेगा। युवा भौर्याल गिर्दा की संस्कृति और जन गीतों की परंपरा को आगे बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण कार्य कर रहे हैं। उमेश डोभाल स्मृति पत्रकारिता पुरस्कार (प्रिन्ट मीडिया) इस वर्ष जनपक्षीय पत्रकारिता के लिए हिमांशु जोशी (नैनीताल) को दिया जायेगा।
