  • Adulteration of Sugar   आजकल चीनी में यूरिया मिलाकर भी उसकी मिलावट की जा रही है। ऐसे में आपको इसे चेक करने के लिए सबसे पहले अपनी हथेलियों में थोड़ी सी चीनी लेकर उसे रगड़ना होगा। इसके बाद उस चीनी को सूंघे। अगर चीनी में मिलावट होगी तो उससे एमोनिया की गंध आएगी। चीनी में मिलावट के लिए मिलावटखोर प्लास्टिक के कण भी मिक्स करते हैं। आपको ये चेक करने के लिए एक गिलास में चीनी और पानी को मिक्स कर लें। मिक्स करने के बाद करीब 5 मिनट बाद आपको इस छानें। अगर छानने के बाद चीनी में प्लास्टिक के कण मौजूद होंगे तो वह आपको दिखाई देंगे। हाइड्रोक्लोरिक एसिड की मदद से आप असली चीनी की पहचान कर सकते हैं।

  • Adulteration of Sugar   चीनी में चॉक पाउडर की मिलावट भी की जाती है। इस मिलावट को जांच आप रिसोर्सिनोल (Resorcinol) के जरिए कर सकते हैं। बता दें, रिसोर्सिनोल  एक केमिकल कम्पाउंड होता है, जिसका प्रयोग आमतौर पर हेयर डाई और एक्ने ट्रीटमेंट के लिए होता है। मगर इसका सेवन करने से शरीर पर बुरा असर हो सकता है। इसकी जांच करने के लिए एक बाउल में 2 चम्मच चीनी डालें। अब इसके ऊपर से थोड़ा सा रिसोर्सिनोल डालकर थोड़ी देर अलग रख दें। अगर चीनी का रंग सफेद से बदलकर लाल हो जाएं तो समझ जाइए कि इसमें मिलावट की गई है।
