DHAMI MAHAR REGIMENT जब एक वीआईपी के रूप में मुख्यमंत्री धामी उस धरती पर पहुंचे जहाँ उनके पिता के संग बचपन की यादें ताज़ा हो गयी तो हर सैनिक गर्व और भावुकता से भरा नज़र आया। आपको बता दें कि मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी मध्य प्रदेश स्थित सागर में महार रेजिमेंट में आयोजित सैनिक सम्मेलन में हिस्सा लेने गए हैं। सम्मेलन को सम्बोधित करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि बाल्यकाल में जब वे अपने (स्वर्गीय) पिताजी से महार रेजिमेंट के वीर सैनिकों की शौर्यगाथाओं के बारे में सुनते थे तो मन में उत्साह और उमंग की भावना हिलोरे लेने लगती थी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह मेरा सौभाग्य है कि आज मुझे आप सभी वीर सैनिकों के बीच आने का सुअवसर प्राप्त हुआ है। इससे पूर्व वह यहां एक बालक के रूप में आये थे जिसके लिए ये पूरा परिवेश किसी स्वप्नलोक से कम नहीं था। बाल्यकाल में जिस दिन वह, सागर आये वो उनके जीवन के सबसे महत्वपूर्ण दिनों में से एक दिन था।

DHAMI MAHAR REGIMENT मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जहां एक ओर हमारी यह रेजिमेंट विविधता में एकता की भावना का बोध कराती है वहीं इसका प्रत्येक सैनिक भारत की महान संस्कृति व गौरवशाली सैन्य परंपरा का एक उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण भी है। आज दुनिया ये जान रही है, समझ रही है कि यह देश अपने हितों से किसी भी कीमत पर समझौता नहीं करने वाला है। आज सेना के आधुनिकीकरण को भी एक नया आयाम दिया जा रहा है और डिफेंस सेक्टर को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने की दिशा में अभूतपूर्व कार्य किए जा रहे हैं। प्रधानमंत्री के मार्गदर्शन और उनके द्वारा सैनिकों को दिए जा रहे प्रोत्साहन के कारण ही आज हमारी सेना पहले से कई गुना अधिक सशक्त है और सीमाएं पहले से कहीं अधिक सुरक्षित हैं। सैनिकों द्वारा किए जाने वाले त्याग और उनकी राष्ट्र सेवा के ऋण को हम कभी नहीं चुका सकते।

DHAMI MAHAR REGIMENT मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आज वह सेना में तो नही हैं परन्तु वीर सैनिकों को अपना आदर्श मानकर राष्ट्र सेवा में अपना यथासंभव योगदान देने की पूरी कोशिश कर रहें हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय सेना के सैन्य कौशल और पराक्रम का इतिहास महार रेजिमेंट के बिना पूर्ण नहीं हो सकता। देश की पहली मशीनगन रेजीमेंट होने के साथ साथ देश को दो सेना प्रमुख देने का गौरव भी इस रेजिमेंट के साथ जुड़ा हुआ है।
DHAMI MAHAR REGIMENT सीमाओं की सुरक्षा करने से लेकर युद्ध के मैदान तक महार रेजिमेंट का एक-एक सैनिक अपना सर्वोच्च बलिदान देने के लिए हमेशा तत्पर रहा है। 1962 का युद्ध हो या 1971 का… हमारे वीर जवानों ने हमेशा अपनी वीरता का परिचय देते हुए दुश्मन को मात दी है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज के इस अवसर पर सभी वीर शहीदों के माता पिताओं को भी वह प्रणाम करते हैं जिन्होंने ऐसे वीर योद्धाओं को जन्म दिया और उनका पालन पोषण किया साथ ही वह उन सभी सैन्य परिवारों को भी नमन करते हैं, जिन्होंने स्वयं से पहले राष्ट्र सेवा को स्थान दिया।
