Heavy Traffic Brain Development अब एक ऎसी खबर जो आपके बच्चों की सेहत और उनके भविष्य से सीधे जुड़ी है। प्रदुषण की बहुत सी खबरे आप पढ़ते हैं और उसका नुक्सान भी जानते हैं लेकिन हम बात कर रहे हैं ट्रेफिक के शोर की जिसके कारण आपके बच्चों का धीरे धीरे बड़ा नुक्सान हो रहा है। खबर मीडिया सोर्सेस के हवाले से आ रही है कि स्कूल जाते समय बच्चों के स्कूल रूट में ज्यादा ट्रैफिक होने से बच्चों की मेमोरी कमजोर होती है।

- स्पेन के बार्सिलोना इंस्टीट्यूट फॉर ग्लोबल हेल्थ के शोधकर्ताओं ने बार्सिलोना के 38 स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले बच्चों पर किए शोध में यह बात सामने आई है। 7 से 10 साल के 2,680 बच्चों पर हुए इस शोध में सामने आया कि बाहरी शोर के स्तर में 5 डेसिबल की भी वृद्धि होती है तो याददाश्त क्षमता 11.5% कम हो जाती है। वहीं, कठिन कामों को करने की क्षमता का विकास भी 23.5% तक प्रभावित होता है। इसके चलते पढ़ाई पर फोकस 4.8 % तक घट जाता है।
- इस शोध के लेखक जोर्डी सनयर ने बताया कि हमारी रिसर्च इस थ्योरी का समर्थन करता है कि बचपन एक कमजोर अवधि है। ध्वनि प्रदूषण किशोरावस्था से पहले होने वाले याददाश्त क्षमता के विकास की प्रक्रिया को धीमा करता है। भविष्य में इसे देखते हुए स्कूलों को ऐसी जगह बनाया जाना चाहिए जहां शोर व ट्रैफिक कम हो। बाहरी और अंदर के शोर की तुलना में शोधकर्ताओं ने पाया कि शोर वाले खेल के मैदानों वाले स्कूलों में बच्चों ने सभी परीक्षणों में खराब प्रदर्शन किया। हालांकि, शोरगुल वाली कक्षाएं केवल बच्चों के ध्यान को प्रभावित करती हैं, न कि उनकी मेमोरी को। अध्ययन के प्रमुख लेखक डॉ मारिया फोस्टर ने कहा कि इस खोज से पता चलता है कि कक्षा के अंदर का शोर औसत डेसिबल स्तर से ज्यादा होने पर न्यूरोडेवलपमेंट के लिए खतरा साबित हो सकता है।
