Himalayan University Convocation हिमालयन कॉलेज ऑफ नर्सिंग (एचसीएन) में 134 विद्यार्थियों, हिमालयन स्कूल ऑफ साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी (एचएसएसटी) में 116 विद्यार्थियों, हिमालयन स्कूल ऑफ मैनेजमेंट स्टडीज (एचएसएमएस) में 192 विद्यार्थियों, हिमालयन स्कूल ऑफ योगा साइंसेज (एचएसवाईएस) में 36 विद्यार्थियों, हिमालयन स्कूल ऑफ बायो साइंसेज (एचएसबीएस) में 116 विद्यार्थियों, डॉक्टर ऑफ फिलॉसफी (पीएचडी) में 05 विद्यार्थियों तथा 24 छात्र-छात्राओं को एकेडमिक अवॉर्ड से सम्मानित किया गया।

  • Himalayan University Convocation आपको बता दें कि केन्द्रीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह तथा मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने स्वामी राम हिमालयन विश्वविद्यालय, जॉलीग्रांट के पंचम दीक्षांत समारोह में प्रतिभाग किया। इस अवसर पर उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डा0 धन सिंह रावत भी उपस्थित थे। केन्द्रीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने मेधावी छात्र-छात्राओं को सम्मानित किया। स्वामी राम हिमालयन विश्वविद्यालय, जॉलीग्रांट का पंचम दीक्षांत समारोह के अवसर पर कुल 1316 छात्रों को डिग्री प्रदान की गई। इनमें हिमालयन इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल साइंस (एचआईएमएस) द्वारा 292 छात्रों को एमबीबीएस, 135 छात्रों को पीजी,  270 छात्रों को  पैरामेडिकल, 20 छात्रों को क्लिनिकल रिसर्च में उपाधियां प्रदान की गई।

  • Himalayan University Convocation दीक्षान्त समारोह को सम्बोधित करते हुए केन्द्रीय रक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि दीक्षान्त समारोह शिक्षा का नहीं अपितु संस्कारों का सन्देश देता है। संस्कार जीवन में महत्वपूर्ण हैं। शिक्षा कल्याणकारी अथवा विनाशकारी में से कुछ भी हो सकती है, यह विद्यार्थियों के संस्कारों पर निर्भर करता है। दीक्षान्त समारोह शिक्षा का अन्त नही है। सीखने के प्रक्रिया निरन्तर चलती रहती है। जीवन में सफलता और असफलता साथ-साथ चलती रहती है। असफलताओं से डरने के स्थान पर उनसे सीखना आवश्यक है। युवाओं को इस बार के फीफा वर्ल्ड कप से भी सीखना चाहिए। खेल जगत से टीम भावना सबको सीखनी चाहिए। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी भी इसी टीम भावना के साथ देश के लिए कार्य कर रहे है।

  • Himalayan University Convocation दीक्षांत समारोह को सम्बोधित करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि यह अत्यंत गौरव का क्षण है कि स्वामी राम हिमालयन विश्वविद्यालय के दीक्षांत समारोह में केन्द्रीय रक्षामंत्री राजनाथ सिंह जी की उपस्थिति अविस्मरणीय है। केन्द्रीय रक्षा मंत्री  का मार्गदर्शन युवा विद्यार्थियों को नव ऊर्जा और नव चेतना प्रदान करेगा।  मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने कहा कि श्रद्धेय स्वामी राम जी की दिव्य प्रेरणा से अलंकृत यह ज्ञान का मंदिर उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में उच्च शिक्षा का प्रचार-प्रसार करने में अग्रणी है। एक शिक्षित व स्वस्थ समाज के निर्माण के अपने उद्देश्य को सार्थक करने हेतु, स्वामी राम जी ने अपना संपूर्ण जीवन समाज को समर्पित कर दिया। आज यह संस्थान चिकित्सा शिक्षा, जनकल्याण और मानव सेवा के क्षेत्र में नित- नए कीर्तिमान स्थापित कर रहा है।
