  • Phool Dei Festival चैत्र के महीने के शुरू से ही बच्चों की टोली प्रात काल में उठकर नहा धोकर जंगलों से या नजदीकी क्षेत्र से विभिन्न प्रकार के रंग बिरंगे फूलों को इकट्ठा करके बांस के कंडी में भरकर लाते हैं फूलकंडी को लेकर बच्चे घर-घर जाते हैं और घर की देहरी पर फ्योली, बुरांश अन्य रंग बिरंगे फूल डालते हैं तथा परिवार के सुख -शांति और समृद्धि के लिए शुभकामनाएं देते हैं।

Phool Dei Festival घर की महिलाओं के द्वारा घर पर आए हुए बच्चों की टोलियों का स्वागत किया जाता है और उपहार स्वरूप उन्हें चावल गुड़ , मिठाई एवं दक्षिणा के रूप में कुछ पैसे दिए जाते हैं। इस मौके पर बच्चों एवं लोगों के द्वारा उत्तराखंड के लोकगीत भी गाये जाते हैं, प्रसिद्ध फूलदेई क्षमा देई गीत भी गाया जाता है।
