Shiv Temples in Uttarakhand में आज बात करेंगे देवभूमि उत्तराखंड की जिसको आदि गुरु शंकराचार्य की तपोभूमि और भोले शंकर की निवास स्थली भी कहते हैं। यहीं कैलाश पर शिव का वास है और यहीं कनखल (हरिद्वार) व हिमालय में ससुराल। आद्य शंकराचार्य के उत्तराखंड आने से पूर्व यहां शैव मत का ही बोल बाला रहा है और सभी लोग भगवान शिव के उपासक थे।

Shiv Temples in Uttarakhand शिव विभिन्न रूपों में उत्तराखंड के आराध्य देव हैं।

उत्तराखंड के कण-कण में भगवान शिव साक्षात रूप से विराजमान हैं। यहां के मंदिर आस्था ही नहीं आर्थिकी का भी केंद्र हैं। इन मंदिरों से हजारों लोगों की आर्थिकी प्रत्यक्ष एवं परोक्ष रूप से जुड़ी हुई है। उत्तराखण्ड में धार्मिक पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए शैव सर्किट में गढ़वाल मण्डल से 12 व कुमाऊँ मण्डल से 12 प्राचीन मंदिरों को समावित किया गया है।

गढ़वाल मण्डल के 5 प्राचीन शिव मंदिर – Shiv Temples in Uttarakhand

1 -केदारनाथ, रुद्रप्रयाग-मंदाकिनी नदी के किनारे समुद्र तट से लगभग 3584 मी की ऊंचाई पर स्थित यह मंदिर शिव के धाम के नाम से विख्यात है। भगवान शिव के 12 ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से, इस धाम में एक ज्योतिर्लिंग यह है।

2 – मदमहेश्वर, ऊखीमठ-चौखम्भा की गोद में समुद्र तल से 9700 फीट की ऊंचाई पर यह मन्दिर अवस्थित है, जो ऊखीमठ से 30 किमी0 की दूरी पर है। पंच केदार के नाम से विख्यात भगवान शिव के पाँच पावन धाम में से मदमहेश्वर दूसरा पावन धाम है। यहाँ भगवान शिव की नाभि की पूजा की जाती है।

Shiv Temples in Uttarakhand 3 – तुंगनाथ, चोपता- तृतीय केदार तुंगनाथ समुद्र तल से 12070 फीट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है। भगवान तुंगनाथ मंदिर में भगवान शिव की भुजाओं की पूजा अर्चना की जाती है। मंदिर के निकट ही रावण शिला भी स्थित है जिसके विषय में यह मान्यता है कि लंकापति रावण ने इस शिला पर भगवान शिव की तपस्या की थी।

4 – रूद्रनाथ, चमोली-चमोली में चतुर्थ केदार के रूप में श्री रूद्रनाथ मंदिर में भगवान शिव के एकानन यानी मुख स्वरूप की पूजा की जाती है। यहां पर भगवान शिव रौद्र रूप में पूजनीय है। मंदिर तीनों ओर कुण्डों से घिरा है। यहां पर सूर्यकुण्ड, चन्द्र कुण्ड, ताराकुण्ड व मानस कुण्ड स्थित हैं।

Shiv Temples in Uttarakhand 5 – काशी विश्वनाथ, उत्तरकाशी -विश्वनाथ मंदिर या काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर सबसे प्रसिद्ध और प्राचीन हिंदू मंदिरों में से एक है। यह मंदिर भगवान शिव को समर्पित है। यह उत्तरकाशी जिले में भागीरथी नदी के तट पर लगभग 150 वर्ष पूर्व निर्मित हुआ है। ऐतिहासिक व धार्मिक महत्व के अनुसार यह मंदिर साधना और शान्ति का प्रतीक है।

कुमाऊँ मण्डल के 5 प्राचीन शिव मंदिर

1-जागेश्वर महादेव, अल्मोड़ा-अल्मोड़ा से 38 कि.मी की दूरी पर बसा जागेश्वर धाम इस परिक्षेत्र का प्रमुख धार्मिक एवं प्राकृतिक पर्यटन स्थली है। लोक विश्वास और लिंग पुराण के अनुसार जागेश्वर संसार के पालनहार भगवन विष्णु द्वारा स्थापित बारह ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से एक है। यह शैव धर्म के पारंपरिक धामों में से एक है।

Shiv Temples in Uttarakhand 2-बिनसर महादेव मंदिर रानीखेत- भगवान शिव को समर्पित इस मंदिर का निर्माण 10वीं सदी में किया गया था। बिनसर महादेव मंदिर अपने पुरातात्विक महत्व और वनस्पति के लिए लोकप्रिय है। यह मंदिर रानीखेत से लगभग 20 किमी0 की दूरी पर स्थित है।

3-कपिलेश्वर मंदिर, अल्मोड़ा- अल्मोड़ा नगर से लगभग 12 किमी दक्षिण पूर्व में सिमल्टी नामक गांव के निकट शिव मंदिर कपिलेश्वर स्थित है। इसकी ऊंचाई लगभग 37 फिट आंकी गयी है। इस मंदिर का विशेष आर्कषण इसकी अलंकृत रचनाऐं हैं, जिन पर अनेक पार्श्व देवता अंकित हैं।

Shiv Temples in Uttarakhand 4-पाताल भुवनेश्वर, पिथौरागढ़- पिथौरागढ़ के गंगोलीहाट में स्थित पाताल भुवनेश्वर गुफा किसी आश्चर्य से कम नहीं है। भारत के प्राचीनतम ग्रन्थ स्कंध पुराण के अनुसार पाताल भुवनेश्वर की गुफा के सामने पत्थरों से बना एक-एक शिल्प तमाम रहस्यों को खुद में समेटे हुए हैं। इस गुफा में पानी की धारा लगातार शिवलिंग का अभिषेक करती रहती है।

5- थलकेदार मंदिर, पिथौरागढ़- थलकेदार पहाड़ी के शिखर पर समुद्र तल से 2000 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है। यह धार्मिक स्थान अपने शिवलिंग के लिये सबसे अधिक प्रसिद्ध है, जिसे हजारों वर्ष पुराना माना जाता है। इस मंदिर में सच्चे मन से मांगी गयी हर मनोकामना पूरी होती है।
