रूस द्वारा यूक्रेन पर किये जा रहे अटैक को लेकर पूरे देश के नागरिकों की निगाहें टिकी हुई है। जिन लोगों के बच्चे वहां फंसे हुए हैं उनके अलावा प्रत्येक नागरिक यूक्रेन में फंसे छात्रों की सकुशल वापसी के लिए ईश्वर से प्रार्थना कर रहा है और भारत सरकार से ठोस कदम उठाने की गुहार लगा रहा है। इसी क्रम में महानगर कांग्रेसजनों ने हवन यज्ञ कर ईश्वर से प्रार्थना की।
Uttarakhand Congress महानगर कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष लालचंद शर्मा नें कहा की यूक्रेन में हफ्तों से संकट के हालात बने हुए थे तथा लगातार बढ़ते जा रहे रूस-यूक्रेन संकट को देखते हुए मोदी सरकार को भारतीय नागरिकों को यूक्रेन से निकालने का काम काफी पहले शुरू कर देना चाहिए था परन्तु भारत सरकार संकट के गहराने का इंतजार करती रही। उन्होंने कहा कि आज भी युद्ध क्षेत्र में फंसे भातरीय छात्रों एवं नागरिकों की वापसी पर अनिश्चितता के हालात बने हुए है तथा भारत सरकार इन भारतीय नागरिकों की वापसी के लिए ठोस कदम नहीं उठा पा रही है।
पूर्व विधायक राजकुमार ने कहा की देश के हजारों छात्र व नागरिक यूक्रेन में फंसे हैं। हालांकि सरकार उन्हें निकालने में लगी है लेकिन अभी भी काफी लोग वहां फंसे हैं। बीते कल कर्नाटक के छात्र नवीन की मौत हुई है और आज भी कुछ लोगों की मौत की सूचना है। Uttarakhand Congress ने मृतकों की आत्मा की शांति और युद्ध में शांति के लिए हवन यज्ञ किया। उन्होंने कहा कि विदेशों में पढ़ाई सस्ती और प्रदेश में महंगी होने से बच्चे बाहर का रुख करते हैं। सरकार को इस पर विचार करने की जरूरत है।
