Garh Bhoj Diwas हिमालय पर्यावरण जड़ी बुटी एग्रो संस्थान के द्वारा देहरादून के नेताजी सुभाष चन्द्र बोस बालिका आवासीय छात्रावास मे प्रथम गढ़ भोज दिवस का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर प्रदेश के शिक्षा मंत्री डा. धन सिंह रावत जी के द्वारा मिड डे मिल मे गढ़ भोज को शामिल किया गया। शिक्षा मंत्री ने छात्रो को गढ़ भोज की थाली परोसी व खुद भी छात्रो के साथ गढ़ भोज खाया। इस अवसर पर उन्होनें जाड़ी संस्थान के द्वारा वर्ष 2000 से उत्तराखंड के पारम्परिक भोजन को पहचान व थाली का हिस्सा बनाने के लिये चलाये जा रहे गढ़ भोज अभियान की सराहना की।

- Garh Bhoj Diwas उन्होने कहा की उत्तराखंड 52 गढ़ो का प्रदेश है। गढ़ भोज मे 52 गढ़ो की फसलो, परंपराओ व स्वाद का समावेश है। हमारे प्रदेश मे कई वीर भड़ हुये है सभी गढ़ भोज खा के स्वस्थ तंदुरुस्त रहे। आज से उत्तराखण्ड के हर विधालय मे सप्ताह के एक दिन गढ़ भोज बनेगा। जो हमारे स्वस्थ व समृद उत्तराखंड की कल्पना को साकार करेगा। हमारा भोजन दुनिया के भोजन से सर्वोतम भोजन है। भोजन की दुनिया में आने वाली सदी मे गढ़ भोज की होगी। शिक्षा मंत्री ने डा. अरविन्द दरमोडा की लिखी पुस्तक गढ़ भोज एक दृषि व स्कूली पाठ्यक्रम के लिये द्वारिका प्रसाद सेमवाल द्वारा लिखी गढ़ भोज उत्तराखंड का परंपरागत भोजन पुस्तक का विमोचन किया। आने वाले समय मे गढ़ भोज दिवस भोजन के उत्सव के रूप मे जाना जायेगा। गढ़ भोज दिवस को अगले वर्ष स्वयं स्कूल-कालेज के माध्यम से मनाएगी।
