 Historical Jhanda Mela श्री झंडे जी मेले में शामिल होने के लिए देश-विदेश से बड़ी संख्या में संगतें श्री दरबार साहिब पहुंच गई हैं।  पंजाब, हरियाणा, हिमाचल, उत्तर प्रदेश, राजस्थान सहित देश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों से भारी संख्या में श्रद्धालु श्री दरबार साहिब पहुंचे। विदेशों से भी संगतों का आगमन शुरू हो गया है। श्री दरबार साहिब के सज्जादानशीन श्रीमहंत देवेन्द्र दास जी महाराज ने संगतों को दर्शन दिए व आशीर्वाद दिया।

Historical Jhanda Mela श्री गुरु राम राय जी महाराज, श्री झण्डा साहिब महाराज व श्रीमहंत देवेन्द्र दास जी महाराज के जयकारों से श्री दरबार साहिब परिसर गूंज उठा।  नित्य पूजा-क्रम के बाद श्री दरबार साहिब के सज्जादानशीन श्रीमहंत देवेन्द्र दास जी महाराज ने संगतों को दर्शन दिए। उन्होंने संगतों को श्री गुरु महाराज जी के दिखाए आदर्श जीवन मार्ग पर चलने का संदेश दिया। मेले के कुशल संचालन के लिए मेला प्रबन्धन समिति व संगतों को आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश भी दिए।

Historical Jhanda Mela गुरुवार तक श्री दरबार साहिब परिसर संगतों से लगभग पैक हो गया। श्री दरबार साहिब के व्यवस्थापक के.सी. जुयाल ने जानकारी दी कि मेला प्रबन्धन की ओर से संगतों के भोजन, ठहरने, पानी व स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को लेकर विशेष व्यवस्था की गई है। श्री दरबार साहिब के सेवादार संगतों की आवभगत, उनके रहने और खाने की व्यवस्थाओं में जुटे हैं। श्री गुरु राम राय पब्लिक स्कूल तालाब,  श्री गुरु राम राय पब्लिक स्कूल, बांबे बाग मातावाला बाग, श्री गुरु राम राय पब्लिक स्कूल, रेसकोर्स, श्री गुरु राम राय पब्लिक स्कूल, राजा रोड में भारी संख्या में संगतें पहुंच चुकी हैं।

Historical Jhanda Mela श्री झण्डा जी मेला आयोजन समिति की ओर से संगतों के लिए शहर की विभिन्न धर्मशालाओं और अन्य स्थानों में संगतों के लिए आवासीय व लंगर की समुचित व्यवस्था की गई है।  श्री महाराज जी ने संगतों से झण्डा आरोहरण क्षेत्र में सावधानी बरतने व अव्यवस्थित भीड़ न लगाने की अपील की , श्रीमहंत देवेन्द्र दास जी महाराज ने श्री झण्डा जी मेला में शामिल होने के लिए आने वाली संगतों से अपील की कि वह मेला क्षेत्र में सावधानीपूर्वक प्रवेश लें। अनावश्यक रूप से श्री झण्डा जी आरोहण क्षेत्र में भीड़ न करें।

गिलाफ सिलने का काम में आई तेजी
Historical Jhanda Mela गिलाफ सिलने का काम में बेहद तेजी रही। महिलाएं सिलाई मशीन की मदद से गिलाफ तैयार करने के काम में जुटी हुई हैं। काबिलेगौर है कि श्री झण्डे जी पर तीन तरह के गिलाफों का आवरण होता है। सबसे भीतर की ओर सादे गिलाफ चढ़ाए जाते हैं इनकी संख्या 41 (इकतालीस) होती है। मध्यभाग में शनील के गिलाफ चढ़ाए जाते हैं इनकी संख्या 21 (इक्कीस) होती है। सबसे बाहर की ओर दर्शनी गिलाफ चढ़ाया जाता है इनकी संख्या 1 (एक) होती है। इस जालन्धर के संसार सिंह जी व परिवार को को दर्शनी गिलाफ चढ़ाने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ है।

Historical Jhanda Mela श्री दरबार साहिब प्रबन्धन, श्री झण्डा जी मेला आयोजन समिति  की ओर से आकर्षक साजो सज्जा का विशेष इंतजाम किया गया है।  पूरे दरबार साहिब परिसर में विशेष साजो सज्जा की गई है। खासतौर पर रात के समय श्री दरबार साहिब की आभा देखते ही बन रही है। चारों ओर से पड़ रही दुधिया रोशनी के बीच श्री दरबार साहिब बेहद मनमोहक व आकर्षक दिखाई दे रहा है।
