Rampur Tiraha Kand : मुजफ्फरनगर के रामपुर तिराहे पर 1 अक्टूबर की रात और 2 अक्टूबर 1994 के दिन में जो हुआ उसके घाव आज भी लोगों को सन्न कर देते हैं। 1 अक्टूबर की रात में दमन और अमानवीयता के बीच ऐसी बीती कि दो दिन इतिहास में काले अध्याय के रूप में छप गए। यह वो दौर था जब आंदोलनकारी उत्तर प्रदेश से अलग एक पहाड़ी राज्य की मांग कर रहे थे। उस वक्त ‘बाड़ी-मडुआ खाएंगे उत्तराखंड बनाएंगे’ जैसे नारे हवा में तैर रहे थे।राज्य में आंदोलन की आग तेज हुई और पहाड़ ने मुझे वोट नहीं दिया कहने वाले नेता कुछ ही पल में जनता के लिए खलनायक बन गए। आज सीएम धामी और तमाम प्रमुख लोगों ने उस दिन को याद करते हुए अपनी श्रद्धांजलि दी और शहीदों की कुर्बानियों को याद किया।

  • Rampur Tiraha Kand  आंदोलन को दिल्ली तक ले जाने के लिए 1 अक्टूबर को पहाड़ी इलाकों से 24 बसों में सवार होकर कुछ आंदोलनकारी दिल्ली की तरफ रवाना हुए। पहले इन्हें रुड़की के नारसन बॉर्डर पर रोका गया लेकिन जत्था आगे बढ़ गया फिर आंदोलनकारियों को तैयारी रामपुर तिराहे पर रोकने की तैयारी की गई। 1 अक्टूबर 1994 को मुजफ्फरनगर के रामपुर तिराहे पर आंदोलनकारियों और पुलिस में कहासुनी हुई कि तभी अचानक नारेबाजी और पथराव शुरू हो गया। इस पथराव में तत्कालीन डीएम अनंत कुमार सिंह घायल हो गए। इसके बाद यूपी पुलिस ने क्रूरता से लाठीचार्ज किया और करीब ढाई सौ आंदोलनकारियों को हिरासत में ले लिया गया। इसी झड़प के बीच कथित तौर पर पुलिस पर महिलाओं के साथ छेड़खानी और रेप के भी आरोप लगे, जिनमें बाद में कई सालों तक मुकदमा भी चला।
     

    Rampur Tiraha Kand  इस बर्बरता के बीच स्थानीय लोगों ने महिलाओं और आंदोलनकारियों को अपने स्थानों पर शरण भी दी। मामले में खबर लगी तो देर रात तीन बजे के करीब 40 बसों से आंदोलनकारी रामपुर तिराहे पर पहुंचे तो फिर झड़प हुई। हालांकि, 2 अक्टूबर 1994 के दिन मामला ज्यादा संघर्षपूर्ण स्थिति में पहुंच गया। इसमें यूपी पुलिस ने करीब 24 राउंड फायरिंग की जिसमें 7 लोगों की जान चली गई और डेढ़ दर्जन लोग घायल हो गए।रामपुर तिराहा कांड के बाद आंदोलनकारियों का अलग पहाड़ी राज्य आंदोलन जोर पकड़ गया। 6 सालों तक चले इस लंबे संघर्ष के बाद 9 नवंबर, 2000 को उत्तर प्रदेश से अलग राज्य उत्तराखंड बना। इस रामपुर तिराहा कांड में कई पुलिसकर्मियों और प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों पर एफआईआर दर्ज हुई और फिर 1995 में इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने सीबीआई जांच के आदेश दिए।
     

    Rampur Tiraha Kand  इस कांड में दो दर्जन से अधिक पुलिसवालों पर रेप, डकैती, महिलाओं के साथ छेड़छाड़ जैसे मामले दर्ज हुए। साथ ही सीबीआई के पास सैकड़ों शिकायतें दर्ज हुई। इसके बाद, साल 2003 में फायरिंग के मामले में तत्कालीन डीएम को भी नामजद किया गया और उत्तराखंड हाई कोर्ट ने एक पुलिसकर्मी को सात साल जबकि दो अन्य पुलिकर्मियों को दो-दो साल की सजा सुनाई। वहीं, 2007 में तत्कालीन एसपी को भी सीबीआई कोर्ट ने बरी कर दिया और फिर मामला लंबित रहा।रामपुर तिराहा कांड को लंबा वक्त बीत गया और राजनीतिक तौर पर पार्टियां एक-दूसरे दलों पर आरोप लगाती रही। हालांकि, रामपुर तिराहा कांड और 2 अक्टूबर का दिन उत्तराखंड की मांग करने वाले राज्य आंदोलनकारियों के लिए काला अध्याय साबित हुआ। मुजफ्फरनगर के रामपुर तिराहे पर हुए कांड को याद कर लोग आज भी सहम जाते हैं।
